Temple Clothing

Also called burial clothing or temple robes.

Utah

Temple clothing is the white ceremonial clothing that endowed members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are buried or cremated in.

How it works

Families may help dress their loved one, often with the funeral home’s help. Utah funeral homes are familiar with the practice, and it works with a rental casket and cremation as well as burial.

What to ask the funeral home

  • When can the family come in to dress their loved one?
  • Can the clothing be brought in ahead of time?
